I've been a couple of times and the food is always so delicious. Servers are very attentive and do not rush us to order. Drinks are tasty and delish too. I can't wait to go back again.
Perfect date night spot in North west Nolan Hill. This is a hidden gem on the area. We ordered hot wings, truffle fries, chicken flat bread, and lettuce wraps. Each and every dish was better than others. Drinks were classy and refreshing. We had apple cider, peach sangria, bourbon cocktail with cherry and cucumber blast. Each one had a different taste. This place is worth trying and better then driving 20 mins to downtown for the same vibe
Amazing Food & Outstanding Service! We had a fantastic experience at State & Main in Nolan Hill! The flatbread was absolutely amazing, with the perfect balance of fresh tomatoes and spices. It was easily worthy of a glowing review on its own. The soup dumplings were carefully and thoughtfully prepared, with just the right amount of spice to complement their beautiful presentation. The burgers and fries with gravy were nothing short of spectacular. They were rich, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. To top it all off, the drinks were chilled and crisp, making for a refreshing pairing with our meal. Our waitress was professional and kind. She ensured we had a wonderful dining experience. Her attentiveness and warm service made our visit even better. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
We came in for lunch on a Saturday. We were quickly seated. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl. I enjoyed that it was served with brown rice and had lots of vegetables. The sauce also had a great flavor. The portion size was large and filling. Delicious. My husband had a burger and fries. My son had the French dip and his best girl had the chicken enchiladas. They each thought their meal was good. We had an enjoyable meal. And would come back.
The steaks were excellent and the chicken was incredibly tender. Every dish and drink we tried was full of flavor—highly recommend this place to others!
I think this may be my next go-to restaurant in this area. I’ve tried many of the things on the menu and so far, everything has been outstanding. Tonight I ordered a chicken sandwich (I think it was called a grilled chicken club) on the recommendation of our server and it was sooo good. Moist, succulent chicken breast, fresh avocado, crispy bacon, shaved lettuce... oh my it was good! I wish I had taken a picture. The wait staff was friendly, quick and attentive without being overbearing. Atmosphere is quiet where we were seated even though it was quite full. Parking is a little tight but at dinner time, the middle of the lot was empty. I highly recommend this State & Main!
I've been here many times with my family. The food is always consistent and tasty. The menu has a good offering though not a huge selection but more than adequate, really depends what you're looking for. The service is always excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner as casual fare.
